1. Enable the construction sector to decarbonise their supply chains with our innovative solution for project site, sustainability and procurement teams
We will achieve this through:
- The ongoing development of our technology innovation that will support the adoption of low carbon construction materials
- Engaging with suppliers and material manufacturer supply chains to identifying opportunities to develop Environmental Product Declarations (EPD’s) and reduce embodied carbon of materials
- Encourage architects to design sustainable buildings with low carbon materials
- Facilitate re-use of construction materials and minimise waste during construction projects
- Continue with product innovation to drive net zero outcomes for our customers and collaborate across the value chain
- Encourage sourcing materials responsibly and promote low environmental impact
2. Become a net zero company by 2030 and drive annual reduction of carbon emissions in our operations
We will achieve this through:
- Commitment to the UN-backed Race to Zero campaign
- Deliver our services remotely where possible and use virtual office for client meetings
- Commitment to the Road to Net Zero initiative with Go Climate Positive
- This will enable us to implement our sustainability strategy and minimise environmental impact
- We will use electric vehicles where possible and use clean energy transportation options
- Education and training of staff members on environmental impact within our operations
- Adopt behaviours to manage resources including sustainable procurement
- Encourage personal carbon offsetting for non-business related driving, flights and energy consumption
- Offer all new employees hybrid working options and create a work-life balance to promote wellness amongst our staff
- Ensure our supply chain and partners have sustainability policies embedded within their businesses
